the Quilt has a poem on the right side of the page.
If you would like
to write a poem to be considered to be featured in the
Quilt of Phenomenal Women site, please read the
following criteria and instructions. You do not have
to be an accepted member of PhenomenalWomen.com to
submit a poem/verse for consideration.
CONTENT,
CRITERIA and INSTRUCTIONS
Content:
- The poem must reflect
an aspect of being a woman. Her relationship
within herself as a woman - her feelings - her
emotions - her goals and dreams.
- It must be positive
towards the spirituality of being a woman.
- When a woman
reads it, she should be shaking her head in agreement
of the words she is reading - it should bring
her joy and happiness.
Criteria:
- The poem/writing
must be written by you - you MUST be the
original AND only author of the work submitted.
- The poem/writing
must be at least 60 words and no longer than
80 words.
- It may be rhymed
or free verse.
- It doesn't have
to be a poem at all. It could be writing about
being a woman.
- The work must
have a title.
- The work must be
upbeat and encouraging.
