Have you ever wanted to
write a verse for a greeting card? Now you can - and your
work will be featured in  .
Pillow~Notes is a
unique way to send a verse of poetry combined with a
beautiful or humorous image. You DO NOT have to be a member
of the PWOTW to submit. Men are welcome to submit as well.
Writing submitted must be
original to you - meaning that you are the sole author. All
copyrights to the work submitted must be owned by the author
and shall remain the property of the author. The author
gives unconditional permission to Spyder's Empire (underwriter of the
PWOTW) to publish and distribute the writing/submission on www.phenomenalwomen.com
if the entry is selected to be incorporated into
Pillow~Notes.
In
addition, if your poetry/verse is selected, you will receive
a free Spyder's Poetry Empire Screensaver!
Basic criteria:
- poetry/verse must be a
minimum of 4 lines but no more than 16 lines
- all entries must be
rated "G" and viewable by all ages
- it must be written in
English
- poetry/verse may be
rhymed or unrhymed
Since there are many areas
of cards, I'd like you to consider what you would like to
write. Below is a general list of the many categories of
cards that will be offered. (Certainly, any writing of verse would be considered
to be incorporated).
